The 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been spied multiple times testing that explains what all changes one can expect from the upcoming hatchback. One major change that can be notified is the change in platform. Well, the all-new Celerio now get the HEARTECT platform that will help the hatchback gaining more space and rear-seat comfort.

Feature-wise, the next-generation hatchback is expected to come with a redesigned – front grille, bumper and fog lamps. Meanwhile, inside the cabin, it will get a revamped instrument cluster alongside a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio system. Apart from this, buyers will also be able to witness the redesigned dashboard that feels absolutely premium.

This all-new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system now supports Android Auto as well as CarPlay. However, Maruti Suzuki might introduce the automatic climate control feature on the updated hatchback as well.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio is expected to draw power from the same 1.0-litre triple-cylinder K10B engine. It is tuned in such a way that it produces 67BHP of power and 90Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, for transmission duties, customers can opt either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed automatic transmission. Apart from all this, let us expect Maruti Suzuki to offer the 1.2-litre petrol engine for more power on the all-new Celerio.

Right now, Maruti Suzuki Celerio comes with a price tag between Rs.4.53 Lakh and Rs.5.78 Lakh (all price ex-showroom, Delhi). However, with such huge updates, the all-new Celerio is expected to get even costlier. For now, it rivals the Tata Tiago, Datsun GO, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and Hyundai Santro among others.
