Nissan has recently launched the all-new Nissan Magnite in India and it looks absolutely stunning. Meanwhile, the Japanese carmaker has priced the all-new mid-size SUV at just Rs. 4.99 Lakh onwards (introductory and ex-showroom, Delhi).
EXTERIOR
Coming to the features outside, the top-spec variant comes equipped with LED headlights with projector setup, 16-inch alloy wheels, functional roof rails and electrically foldable OVRMs.
INTERIOR
Inside the cabin, it gets plenty of features including a 7-inch all-digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, reverse parking camera, etc. Meanwhile, the infotainment system on the Nissan Magnite supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
ENGINE
Under the hood, Nissan Magnite gets two options for the engine. The first one is a 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 72Ps of power @ 6250 RPM with a peak torque of 96Nm @ 3500 RPM. However, the other one is a 1.0L turbo petrol motor that churns out a massive 100Ps of power @ 5000 RPM and a peak torque of 160Nm @ 2800-3600 RPM.
Apart from this, the naturally aspirated engine comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. However, the turbo engine gets an additional X-Tronic CVT gearbox.
SAFETY FEATURES
Multiple safety features such as dual airbags, Traction Control (TC), EBD and HSA among others are offered on the all-new Nissan Magnite.

With such a price tag, we expect Nissan Magnite to do well in India. However, the mid-size SUV segment is now one of the most competitive segments. In India, it will rival the likes of MS Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Honda WR-V.
