Nissan has recently launched the all-new Nissan Magnite in India with an introductory price offer. The company has priced its recent offering at Rs.4.99 Lakh onwards. However, with such an overwhelming demand Magnite has already received 5000 bookings in just 5 days while the waiting period now extends for upto 3 months. Well! This is a new milestone for Nissan in India, as Magnite has become one of the most popular sub 4 meter SUV since its launch. Apart from this, the sub 4 meter SUV segment is known to be one of the most competitive segments in India.

For instance, the sub 4 meter SUV segment includes Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Toyota Urban Cruiser among others.

ENGINE

Right now, Nissan is offering two engine options on the all-new Nissan Magnite – the first one being a 1.0L Naturally Aspirated Petrol engine that produces 72PS of power and a peak torque of 96Nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. However, the other one is a 1.0L Turbo Petrol motor that produces 100PS of power along with a peak torque of 160Nm. Likewise, this engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox but customers can also opt for a CVT gearbox.

As per the stats, around 60% of bookings are for the top two variants. Meanwhile, 30% of people have booked the Automatic variant of the all-new Nissan Magnite.
