Piaggio India has recently launched the Vespa Racing Sixties. Two variants of Vespa Racing Sixties – the SXL 125 and SXL 150 have been launched by the company. Meanwhile, the limited-edition SXL 125 will cost around ₹1.20 lakh and the SXL 150 to cost ₹1.32 lakh in India. However, the limited edition is only available in the SXL trim and is priced higher by ₹6000 for 125cc while the 150cc costs ₹5000 more.

Vespa Racing Sixties will come with old school paintwork called the ‘White Innocenza’. The color scheme is a base white color with red and gold stripes all across the scooter. Meanwhile, Vespa Racing Sixties will come with flared side panels along with 5-spoke golden color alloy wheels. It will also get a wind deflector as standard.

The Vespa Racing Sixties was first showcased in the Auto Expo 2020. It is similar to the SXL variant and gets the same features as the SXL variant. The LED headlamps with DRLs, USB charging port, boot light and semi-digital instrument cluster are some of the features that are similar to the SXL variant.

Piaggio India is offering the Vespa Racing Sixties with a BS6 compliant engine. The engine on the SXL 125 is a 124.45cc engine that produces 9.79hp of power and 9.60Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the SXL 150 comes with a 149.5cc engine which produces a maximum output of 10.32bhp and 10.62Nm of peak torque.

With the amazing features, the Vespa Racing Sixties gets the same trailing link upfront suspension at the front as the SXL variant. Meanwhile, the rear gets an adjustable mono-shock suspension unit.

Braking duties on the limited edition scooter is managed by a 200mm disc at the front while the rear gets a drum unit. Due to this, the Vespa Racing Sixties get a single-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
