German automobile manufacturer Porsche specialising in high-performance sports cars, SUVs and sedans inaugurated their dream about Electric cars. It will be available to public by 2020.
Dream come alive moment for Porsche at most awaited launch to their first Electric car , named ‘ Taycan’. Company claims to bring it to Indian market by 2020.
Porsche Taycan uniquely designed to overshadow others’ in E-cars segment. The taycan pronounced as ”’e-kan’ means ” lovely young horse”. The Company’s Emissions imagination is powered by 600 horsepower engines will accelerate it from 0 to 100 Km per hour in just 3.5 seconds. It will take only 12 seconds to reach 124 miles per hour on road.
The battery is crafted to deliver power up to 500 Kms on a single charge, thanks to 800 Volt supercharger kit. The stats are released by testing vehicles performance under New Europeans Driving Cycle (NEDC)..
Porsche has not released any price quotation about Taycan. It is hugely investing in its Electric segments. The company granted to spend more than $7 billions on its Research and development by 2022. The plan is to spend over 500 million euro only on Taycan’s future.
The first time company showed its Electric variant was in 2015 Frankfurt Motor show.
Now in 2018, on its 70th anniversary year launches many another new variant of cars like 911 speedster, Boxster Spyder, etc.
