In order to accomplish GST effect on their vehicles, Renault today has announced the reduction in the price of its vehicles by up to 7% in India. This reduction will ultimately reduce the prices of vehicles ranging between ₹5,200 and ₹1.04 lakh which is further going to benefit the customers.
Company’s hatchback Kwid Climber AMT will encounter the price reduction between ₹5,200 to ₹29,500. While SUV Duster RXZ AWD has cut price between ₹30,400 to ₹1,04,700 and that of Lodgy Stepway RXZ between ₹25,700 to ₹88,600.
Renault’s CEO during the release of revised price list said,”Reflecting our customer-first approach, we have decided to pass on GST benefits to our customers, further enhancing the value proposition of our products”. He praised the government’s decision of rolling out the nation’s major tax reform after independence.
He while taking on government’s side said: “There may be a short-term disruption as the whole system adapts to this economic transformation, but in the long term it will be very positive for the economy and corporate India”.
Despite major automobile companies including two-wheelers and four-wheelers have already announced their list of revised prices post-GST.
