Renault first showcased the sporty variant of the Renault Duster at the Auto Expo 2020. The sports variant of the Renault Duster will be known as Renault Duster Turbo.

Powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 156PS of power and 254Nm of torque which is more than the normal petrol variant by 50PS and 112Nm. Likewise, the diesel 1.5-litre engine is also a less powerful engine as it produces 110PS of power and 245Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission as well as a 7-speed CVT. Meanwhile, the normal petrol engine is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Renault Duster Turbo, while being the most powerful variant is also offered with some new cosmetic changes. The red color accents on the front grille, fog lamps, and the badging on the tailgate and roof rails look stunning on the new Renault Duster Turbo.

The Renault Duster Turbo is also equipped with bigger 17-inch alloy wheels.

The other features on offer are the LED DRLs, four speakers and tweeters, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay, dual front airbags, reverse parking camera, and hill start assist.

The all-new Renault Duster Turbo to rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Nissan Kicks. However, the new Volkswagen Tiguan is yet to arrive soon. The Renault Duster Petrol costs between ₹8.49 lakhs to 9.99 lakhs. And thus, the Renault Duster Petrol is expected to be more expensive.

Renault is planning to launch the Duster Turbo within August 2020.
