Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

The all-new Super Meteor 650 has made its world debut at the EICMA Motor show, in Milan. That means it will make its debut in India very soon. For now, the Indian bike manufacturer has not revealed the entire details of the upcoming bike.

A fresh platform has been introduced and this time, it is a steel tubular spine frame based on an upside-down fork upfront and twin shock absorbers at the end.  Royal Enfield also confirmed that the bike will get disc brakes on either end with a dual channel ABS as standard. Next, the all-new Super Meteor 650 will also get a large fuel tank resulting to a better overall range when fueled upto the brim.

Powering this new bike is the well-known 650cc twin-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine that propels a massive output of 47PS @ 7250 RPM and 52.3Nm of torque @ 5650 RPM. This same motor is already available on the Interceptor and Continental GT. With that note, the brand is expecting its customers to have a hassle-free experience since this engine is reliable enough while being paired to a 6-speed gearbox as standard.

This week, the bike manufacturer has also confirmed that the new Super Meteor 650 will be sold with two additional packages, including Solo and Grand Tourer. These genuine accessories from Royal Enfield are hand-picked and well-tailored according to the requirements of the biker. Pricing of the bike is expected to range somewhere between Rs.3 Lakh to Rs.3.5 Lakh (average ex-showroom, India)
