Speed and performance can easily be associated with Suzuki Hayabusa because of its rich history. The superbike came into existence back in 1999 and has even shared its engine with some well-known sports cars and aircraft.

In India, Suzuki has achieved a lot when it comes to this superbike. The Japanese brand introduced the updated Hayabusa for the Indian market in the first quarter of this year with all 101 units sold within few days of launch. It’s high time and customers are still waiting for the second batch to arrive in India. Considering that, Suzuki has started accepting bookings for the same.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • The second lot of 2021 Hayabusa is coming to India soon.
  • It is available with a 190BHP, 1340cc four-cylinder engine.
  • Multiple cosmetic and feature updates are now available.

The manufacturer might have introduced some minor tweaks in terms of styling, but the iconic design language of the new Hayabusa still remains intact to the first one.

Feature-wise, the new Hayabusa sports all sorts of creature comforts in the form of an all-LED lighting setup, analogue instrument cluster, MID display and a tall wind visor to name a few. Another revision on the chassis and subframe has resulted in an overall weight of 246 kgs.

It is uncontested because of the 1340cc four-cylinder engine. According to the updates, the engine is now compliant with the latest emission norms with overall output standing at 190HP and 150Nm. Sadly, because of these updates, the power figure does have a negative impact.

A variety of new electronic aids has been added to improvise the overall ride and handling. The list starts with launch control, engine brake control, multiple ride modes and cornering ABS assisted by 6-axis IMU.

Ducati has updated the Panigale V4 as per the latest BS6 emission norms. Unlike Hayabusa, the brand has managed to extract the same amount of power from the updated motor on the Panigale V4. For starters, it comes powered by a 1103cc four-cylinder engine that churns out a massive 211HP and 124Nm of peak torque.

Talking about the features, the updated bike sports three ride modes, cornering ABS Evo, digital instrument cluster, LED lighting, etc. just to name a few.
