The sedan will be launched in March 2022 and before that happens, the marketing team is trying its best to tell you more about this all-new product.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Skoda Slavia

Skoda has finally started the production of Slavia at the Chakan facility and we hope to see these sedans on road very soon.

The brand has already announced that Slavia will be available in trim levels, namely Active, Ambition and Style. In terms of features, the top-spec variant will be featuring LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, DRLs and LED taillamps. Inside the cabin, it will be available with a massive 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, electric sunroof, twin-spoke steering wheel and wireless charger to name a few.

Price of this sedan is expected to be out on the day of its launch itself. But, for now, Skoda has decided to accept the orders for the same against a token amount of Rs.11,000.

Engine & Transmission

Powering the entry and mid-level variants of Slavia is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The overall output from this unit is rated at 115HP and 178Nm. There’s even a powerful 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine limited on the top-end variant. Interestingly, this power unit is known for producing a massive 150HP and 250Nm.

Transmission duties on Slavia are handled by a 6-speed manual, torque converter or 7-speed DSG depending upon the variant.

City is one of the best selling sedans in India and that too for a really long time. The formula behind this massive success is the reliability it offers. Also, the powerful 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine have done a perfect job in pushing these sales figures further.

Talking about the features, Honda has loaded it up to the brim with a 7-inch driver’s display, ambient lighting, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and electric sunroof to name a few. For more details related to the fifth generation City, click here.
