Tata Motors Launches Altroz XM+ Variant Priced At INR 6.60 Lakh Onwards

Tata Motors has recently launched the all-new Tata Altroz XM+ which will be a mid-tier variant for the Altroz lineup. As per the sources, the company has announced the new variant to boost up their sales this festive season.

Coming to the additional features that the Tata Altroz XM+ variant offers are steering mounted controls, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice command, voice recognition and 16-inch steel wheels as well.

Tata Altroz from the starting is known for its sporty look. However, the hatchback comes with a sloping roofline, blacked-out grille as well as muscular hood at the front. Meanwhile, it seems that the rear portion has been designed with a lot of effort as it is one of the most good looking hatchbacks from the rear as well. Dimension-wise, Tata Altroz gets a 2501mm wheelbase and a 165mm ground clearance.

Inside the cabin, it gets a flat-bottom steering wheel, ambient lighting and a 7.0-inch instrument cluster that supports Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay.

Under the hood, Tata offers two engines on the Altroz. The first one being a 1.2L Petrol engine that produces 86BHP of power and 113Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the other one is a 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine that churns out a massive 90BHP of power with a peak torque of 200Nm. However, the all-new XM+ variant of Tata Altroz will only be offered with the petrol engine.

In India, Tata Altroz rivals Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz, etc. Meanwhile, Tata has priced the Altroz XM+ variant at Rs. 6.60 Lakh onwards. However, it expensive by Rs. 30,000 when compared to the XM variant.
