As the festive season is arriving, many carmakers are launching a mid-spec variant for the popular cars and Tata is one of them. Tata has recently launched the Tata Nexon XM(S) and now its time for the Tata Harrier to receive a new variant. Tata Motors has launched the all-new Tata Harrier XT+ with an introductory price of ₹16.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is a BS6 variant and will observe a price hike just after this month. Tata has stepped forward to introduce the Tata Harrier XT+ variant after an increase in the Month-on-Month sales.

However, the most amazing part about the Harrier XT+ variant is that it gets a panoramic sunroof while being a mid-spec variant. That means one needs to pay less for a Harrier with a sunroof. Meanwhile, the sunroof on offer with the Tata Harrier is best-in-segment and gets a feature called global close. Global close is a technology that provides the sunroof with sensors for anti-pinch, rain-sensing closure as well as a rollover black screen.

Likewise, the Tata Harrier XT+ variant comes with projector headlamps, LED DRLs with in-built turn indicators, 17-inch alloy wheels, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, etc. However, it is loaded with the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system gets the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with eight speakers (including 4 tweeters).

Safety features such as dual front airbags and advanced ESP is also available with XZ+ variant. Tata Harrier XZ+ is based on an OMEGARC platform. It comes with a terrain response mode with fog lamps and a reverse parking camera.

Tata Harrier XT+ comes with a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine with 6-speed manual transmission. Meanwhile, this engine produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of peak torque.
