We understand that Tata Safari is the latest entrant for the lineup. Therefore, discounts are not possible in such a short duration. Planning to buy a Tata car within this month? Currently, Tata Tigor comes with a price tag of Rs.5.59 Lakhs for the entry-level variant. Meanwhile, the top end one comes priced at Rs.7.73 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). For now, it comes powered by a sole 1199cc three-cylinder petrol engine that churns out a decent 84.48BHP and 113Nm of torque. In terms of features, the compact sedan is available with a fully digital instrument cluster, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 8-speaker surround sound system.

Unlike the Tigor, the all-new hatchback from Tata comes with a price tag ranging from Rs.4.99 Lakhs to Rs.6.95 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).  For now, it is available with the same motor that is available on the Tigor. Meanwhile, in terms of features, it gets 15-inch alloy wheels, a rear defogger, a cooled glovebox and an 8-speaker audio system among others.

The petrol variants of Nexon is exempted from the discount offers. However, the company has introduced an exchange bonus of Rs.15,000 on the diesel variants. Surprisingly, the Nexon EV XZ+ LUX is currently available with an exchange bonus of Rs.15,000. Meanwhile, the XZ+ variant of the EV will get a similar bonus of Rs.10,000.

Just for the information, Tata Nexon is available with petrol as well as diesel engine on offer. Sadly, the carmaker is not offering any discounts on the petrol variants and therefore, let us discuss the diesel motor in details. To be precise, it comes powered by a 1497cc diesel engine that is truly capable of producing 108.5HP and 260Nm of torque while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox as standard. The carmaker also offers an AMT gearbox as optional.

Harrier

The carmaker has exempted multiple variants of Harrier including XZ+, XZA+, CAMO and Dark Edition from a cash discount of Rs.25,000. However, all other variants apart from the above ones are currently available cash discount. Tata has also announced an exchange bonus of Rs.40,000 across all variants.

Feature-wise, Tata Harrier comes with a large panoramic sunroof, JBL surround sound system, semi-digital instrument display and ABS among others. The only problem with the Harrier is that it is only available with a diesel engine.

Similarly, many other carmakers are offering massive discounts for this month. Whereas, Tata Motors is working to introduce more ‘affordable’ electric vehicles in the coming future. The carmaker is also expected to introduce a Honda City rival soon.
