MAX also refers to the maximum safety of the passengers. For Tata Motors, safety has always remained the priority and that’s the only reason why this updated SUV is now available with safety features such as ESP with i-VBAC, hill assist, electronic parking brake along with disc brakes on all four ends as standard.

Unlike the standard Nexon EV, this one is equipped with a larger 40.5kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The brand claims that this setup is 33 per cent larger and therefore has an ARAI certified range of 437kms. Thankfully, the bigger pack has also resulted in improved power delivery. Tata Nexon EV Max is now capable of propelling 143PS and 250Nm of peak torque with three drive modes, namely – Eco, City and Sports. All these updates together now help the new and powerful Nexon EV MAX to clock a triple-digit speed in around 9 seconds.

Worried about the not so developed charging infrastructure here? Well, you shouldn’t be as Tata Motors is offering a 3.3kW or a 7.2kW AC charger as per the buyer’s demand. The carmaker even boasts that the all-new Nexon EV MAX can be charged using a 50kW DC. According to the brand, this charger juices up the battery pack from 0-80 per cent in just 56 minutes.
