Maruti Suzuki has already announced that the brand will introduce a price hike on the entire range at the beginning of 2021. Surprisingly, other carmakers are also expected to make a similar announcement and it looks like, Tata Motors is the first one to do so. The Indian brand has introduced a new price list for the Nexon and sadly, it gets costlier by up to Rs.11,000 depending upon the variants.

Interior & Exterior

On the outside, Tata Nexon feels very well-balanced, all thanks to the second-gen updates. Starting with the front profile, it is now available with slim LED headlamps, a new grille, reprofiled bumper and a completely new fog lamp housing. The side profile is definitely similar to the older modern but to enhance it, Tata has decided to offer a new set of alloy wheels.

Just like the exterior, the interior matters a lot. Inside the cabin, Tata Nexon is loaded with a host of new technologies and features including a multi-function steering wheel, fully digital instrument cluster, 8-speaker surround sound system and automatic climate control. For added comfort, Tata Motors has also decided to offer the Xpress Cooling and feature keeping in mind the Indian climate.

Engine

Under the hood, Tata Nexon is either available with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel or a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. As per the spec-sheet, the first one is truly capable of churning out a massive 108BHP and 260Nm of peak torque while it is the latter one that produces a decent 118BHP and 170Nm. For now, both the engines are available with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox.
