Suzuki has recently revealed the third generation Hayabusa globally and mind you, it looks absolutely premium in that all-new avatar. However, that one thing that can bother the motor enthusiasts alot is the power figures. The all-new Suzuki Hayabusa now delivers 7HP less than the outgoing model.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Suzuki has recently revealed the third generation Hayabusa globally.
  • It comes with the same 1340cc engine that produces 190HP alongside a peak torque of 150Nm.
  • The all-new Suzuki Hayabusa now looks more mature with modern electronic aids.

Design-wise, the updated Hayabusa does retain the historic design language. However, the minor cosmetic tweaks in terms of looks now make it more appealing. Apart from this, Suzuki has also introduced the LED headlight unit and a central TFT display on the all-new Hayabusa.

Multiple electronic aids are now available on the all-new Hayabusa like any other modern superbike. For instance, the company now offers a six-axis IMU, launch control, cornering ABS, multiple power modes, anti-wheelie control and engine brake control among others.

At the heart, the all-new Suzuki Hayabusa gets the same 1340cc four-cylinder engine. However, the company has reworked this unit. For instance, there are new pistons alongside a new set of connecting rods that states that most of the elements inside the engine are replaced. Well, Suzuki has paid the price for that as the third generation Suzuki Hayabusa now produces 190HP alongside a peak torque of 150Nm. These power figures when compared to the outgoing variant are slightly less.
Earlier, the second generation Suzuki Hayabusa was retailed for Rs.13.75 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and it managed to be one of the most popular superbikes in India. However, with all these updates on offer the Japanese bike manufacturer will put a higher price tag on the superbike for sure. Suzuki has not announced any details regarding its launch in India yet. However, the all-new superbike is expected to come to India soon.
