Volvo has announced that the company will start the bookings for the updated Volvo S60 in India. Meanwhile, the carmaker will launch the all-new updated luxury sedan by the first quarter of 2021.
EXTERIOR
When launched, the Volvo S60 will come in T4 Inscription trim. Meanwhile, a new pair of sport LED headlights and 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. However, when coming to the dimensions, the luxury sedan will be 4761 mm long, 2040 mm wide and 1431 mm tall. Likewise, the wheelbase is said to be 2872 mm long.
Color schemes available on the all-new Volvo S60 are –
- Onyx Black
- Fusion Red
- Denim Blue
- Crystal White Pearl and
- Maple Brown
FEATURES
Volvo is known as the synonym for safety. Meanwhile, with world-class safety Volvo S60 will get adaptive cruise control, driver alert control, speed alert, hill start assist and many other similar features.
Apart from this, it comes with 3 different ride modes that alter the performance of the car accordingly. To be precise the three ride modes are :

INTERIOR
Inside the cabin, the all-new Volvo S60 gets 4-zone climate control, wireless charging pad, a rearview camera, 14 speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, etc. Apart from this, it will also get the Clean Zone air purifier which is originally developed by Volvo itself.
ENGINE
Powering the updated luxury sedan is a 1969cc BS6 compliant petrol engine. The 2021 Volvo S60 now produces 190BHP of power with a peak torque of 300Nm. Meanwhile, it comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
In India, the upcoming Volvo S60 will compete against the Jaguar XE, Mercedes Benz C Class and BMW 3 Series. However, the luxury sedan will also rival the upcoming Audi A4 when it will be launched.
