Owning a Jaguar was all about luxury and performance for a really long time. To recall, the brand’s initial lineup was comprised of high-end luxury saloons and performance-oriented sports cars. As per the latest trend, markets have evolved a lot and to be precise, the demand for SUVs is now at its peak. We are sure that the R&D division of the company would have identified the changing patterns at the right time. Therefore, the British carmaker placed their bets on something unconventional called the Jaguar F-Pace exactly when it was required.

Looking for an up-gradation for your fleet? The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace has made its way to India at Rs.69.99 Lakhs onwards.

Exterior and Design

The 2021 Jaguar F-Pace gets some minor cosmetic updates on the outside. To begin with, several tweaks including revised bumpers, new ‘J’ blade LED headlamps, muscular bonnet hood and a deeper grille are said to be part of the update. Apart from this, the carmaker has managed to retain the iconic look with a coupe design language.

According to the carmaker, only the R-Dynamic S trim will roll out for the Indian market. Therefore, customers can also expect some model-specific changes on the updated F-Pace.

Unlike the older Jaguar F-Pace, the updated one comes with a refined cabin. More premium, tech loaded and practical are the words that perfectly defines it. For starters, the new sports seats help with more legroom for the rear passengers. Meanwhile, the technology offered will surely baffle everyone with a nicely finished 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system and smartphone connectivity that makes it, even more, user friendly.

Other features such as the fully digital instrument cluster, electric panoramic sunroof, 360-degree parking camera, ambient lighting and multi-zone climate control will continue to be a part of the all-new F-Pace.

Engine

Options are a must and therefore, customers will get two engines on offer. The first one is of course a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol unit that churns out a massive 252HP and 365Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the other one is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel motor that produces 204HP and 430Nm of torque. Currently, both the engines are available with a sole 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.

The updated range will also get the all-wheel-drive powertrain across both variants.
