The pricing of the all-new Toyota Fortuner Legender 4WD variant definitely sounds horrifying. Customers who wish to buy this new variant will have to pay a premium of Rs.3.72 Lakhs when compared to the 2WD version of the same.

The festive season has already arrived in India and therefore, Toyota has rolled out this capable SUV with a price tag of Rs.42.33 Lakhs (ex-showroom, pan-India) by completing the entire lineup. Toyota Fortuner Legender

Design-wise, it remains similar to the two-wheel-drive version. The front profile still gets a Catamaran style bumper, quad-LED headlamps, large air intake and a reprofiled grille finished in Piano Black. A new set of stylish 18-inch alloy wheels are also there to enhance the overall stance.

On the outside, a new badging on the tailgate is there to tell you that this is particularly a 4WD variant. Apart from this, it will also get a differential lock for a seamless offroad affair.

Interior

Inside the cabin, the all-new Fortuner Legender remains similar to other variants in terms of layout. It sill comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multifunctional steering wheel, analogue instrument cluster with MID and control for the automatic climate control. The only change inside the cabin is a new 11-speaker JBL surround sound system including a subwoofer for an unmatched experience.

Other features including ventilated seats, multiple USB ports, a wireless smartphone charger and 7 airbags are also a part of the equipment list to justify this massive price tag.

Engine

Powering the four-wheel-drive variant of Fortuner Legender is a potent 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The overall output from this unit is rated at 204BHP and a massive 500Nm while being paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission as standard.

Unlike the standard lineup, the Legender variants will not get a petrol engine onboard.
