Toyota Kirloskar Motors is all ready to start the bookings for the Toyota Urban Cruiser from August 22. However, Toyota has not revealed the Urban Cruiser yet. But it is expected to be a sub 4-metre SUV that is based upon Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser runs on the K’ Series 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that churns 103BHP of power and 138Nm of peak torque. Apart from this, Toyota is also offering both manual and automatic transmission with the Urban Cruiser. The automatic variant will come with a Li-Ion battery with the Integrated Starter Generator.

The rebadged Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes with two slat wedge grille with chrome treated Toyota badging on it. Alongside badging, the other features on offer are the dual-chamber LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs that works as the indicator as well. Toyota is also offering optional 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with dual-tone shades.
Apart from the features, Toyota also offers a good after-sales service. Hence, Toyota is also offering a 3 years/100K km extended warranty with the Urban Cruiser.
The interior of the Urban Cruiser offers dual-tone dark brown premium interior, wide spacious cabin, start/stop push button with smart entry, an infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
Bookings of the all-new Toyota Urban Cruiser will start from 22 August against a token amount of ₹11,000. Meanwhile, the mode of booking can be online as well as the customer can visit the dealership across the nation.
Toyota Urban Cruiser will rival the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, and Tata Nexon. However, Urban Cruiser will also rival the upcoming Kia Sonet.
