Triumph first launched its naked streetfighter Triumph Street Triple R in the year 2007. The company has now launched the updated Triumph Street Triple R with a price tag of ₹8.84 lakh which lies below the Street Triple RS in India.
Triumph Street Triple R is powered by a 765cc-inline 3 cylinder engine that gets a BS6 update. Meanwhile, the engine produces 118PS of power @ 12,000rpm and 79Nm of torque @ 9350rpm.
Along with the updated engine, the bike offers many other technologies such as the Triumph Shift Assist up and down quick shifter. The new Triumph Street Triple R comes with 3 riding modes alongside the ABS and traction control as well.
The 3 riding modes on the Triumph Street Triple R to be – Road, Rain, and Sport. The riding modes can be altered by selecting the appropriate mode on the LCD instrument cluster as per the riding style.
The front suspension of the Triumph Street Triple R is a Showa 41mm upside down separate function big piston forks (SF-BPF) unit. Meanwhile, the rear suspension is a Showa piggyback Reservoir monoshock which can be adjusted for compression, rebound, damping, and preloading.
Moreover, the Triumph Street Triple R to rival the KTM Duke 790, Kawasaki Z900, and Ducati Monster 821.
The pricing of the bike may attract a lot of customers as well as can establish a better market for the Triumph in India very soon.
