TVS Motors has recently launched an affordable variant of TVS Jupiter at Rs.63,497* with a revised price list. According to the all-new price list, Jupiter Sheet Metal will going to be the new base variant. Meanwhile, the standard variant will now cost Rs.65,497*, the ZX variant will be retailed for Rs.68,247 and the ZX Disc variant will now be available with a price tag of Rs.72,347*. Further, the top end Classic variant will now cost a hefty Rs.72,472*.

TVS Jupiter Sheet Metal

The only difference between the TVS Jupiter Sheet Metal variant and others is the absence of alloy wheels. Apart from this, the all-new variant remains the same with all-LED headlamps, semi-digital instrument cluster, LED taillamps, etc.

Overview

The engine that power the all-new variant of TVS Jupiter is the same 109.cc single-cylinder unit. It produces a maximum of 7BHP @ 7000 RPM and the peak torque now stands at 8.4Nm @ 5500. However, to alter the performance it gets two ride modes, precisely – Eco and Power. The suspension setup on the TVS Jupiter is a telescopic fork at the front while at the rear it comes with a monoshock unit. Whereas, braking duties on the all-new TVS Jupiter works under drum brakes on both ends. Further, it comes with a 6 litre fuel tank along with 21 litres of under-seat storage.

Alternatives

In terms of pricing, TVS Jupiter competes against the likes of Honda Activa 6G, Suzuki Access 125, Honda Dio, etc. However, while purchasing one must consider all these options as well.
