TVS has launched the Jupiter ZX Disc variant with a price tag of ₹69,052 (ex-showroom Delhi). The price difference between the TVS Jupiter ZX drum variant remains to be around ₹4,000 when compared to disc variant.
However, the all-new TVS Jupiter ZX Disc variant is updated with the i-TOUCH start silent. This technology according to TVS, “provides a silent and instant start minus the cranking noise, making it ideal for repeated starts in stop-go traffic”. This technology aims at improving the battery life while making it maintenence free.
The reason for the price hike on the updated TVS Jupiter remains to be the incorporation of the disc brakes. The added feature enables better safety as well as better braking performance. However, the all-in-one lock allows the rider to access ignition, steering lock, seat lock and fuel tank effortlessly.
With proper safety TVS Jupiter also offers alot many features such as the 2 litre glovebox, mobile charger, 21-litre storage just under the seat and many more.
The engine on the TVS Jupiter ZX disc variant comes with an ET-Fi tecnology. Meanwhile, it is a 110cc engine that produces 8bhp of power and 8Nm of torque. With the introduction to the EcoThrust-Fuel injection technology the mileage will increase by around 15% as per the claim. The shock absorber is also an adjustable unit for a better ride comfort.
TVS is offering 3 colour options with the TVS Jupiter ZX disc variant – Matte Starlight, Starlight Blue and Royal Wine. The updated variant of the TVS Jupiter according to the company is ready to provide the best in class features to the customers in India.
TVS Jupiter ZX as soon as it rolls out in the market will rival the Honda Activa 6G, Suzuki Access 125, TVS NTORQ, Honda Dio, etc.
