Volkswagen India Starts Delivering Tiguan Facelift To Customers

Tiguan has been a part of the Indian lineup for a really long time but after so many years, the brand has finally launched a CKD unit of the same. Recently, our sources confirmed that the German carmaker has started delivering the updated SUV to the respective owners and that’s why we have decided to compile all the details related to it down below.

What’s new?

The brand did everything possible to align it with the modern design language. At the front, the updated SUV features a new pair of LED headlamps, grille, bumper and a bonnet hood. Interestingly, the side profile also looks enhanced because of the restyled alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the 2021 Tiguan feels absolutely premium with an updated dashboard layout. Starting with the features, it now comes loaded with automatic climate control, wireless charger, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and ventilated seats.

Engine

Powering the all-new Tiguan is a potent 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine known for producing a massive 190HP and 320Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties for this power unit are currently managed by a 7-speed DSG transmission with power channelled to all four wheels as standard.

Looking for mileage? Well, Volkswagen claims that Tiguan returns an overall fuel efficiency of somewhere around 12kmpl. Just to improve the overall range, it will get a massive 60-litre fuel tank.
