Vento
A rise in input costs could be one of the major reasons behind this price hike. Sadly, it is the Highline AT variant of the new Vento that has received a hike of Rs.5,000. Available with a sole 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, the entire range comes with overall output rated at 108BHP and 175Nm while being paired to either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox. Feature-wise, it is loaded with all the crucial goodies including a touchscreen infotainment system, four airbags, LED headlamps, etc among others.

Polo
Just like the Vento, even Polo is available with a sole 1.0-litre TSI engine. Surprisingly, both the cars have already received a price hike a few months ago and this one is the second consecutive hike in a very short span of time. To be precise, even Polo has received a similar hike of up to Rs.5,000. In terms of features, it comes equipped with a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers and cruise control to name a few.

Taigun
Volkswagen is really working hard to completely revise itself in India. As a result, the brand is going with their SUVW strategy under which they have introduced the new Taigun. Sources confirm that the entire range of this new SUV has received a hike of Rs.4,200 with the new price tag starting at Rs.10.54 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Talking about the features, it comes with an electric sunroof, wireless charger, fully digital instrument cluster and LED headlamps depending upon the variant.
