To be sold in 6 different colours namely, Wild Cherry Red, Reflex Silver, Rising Blue, Carbon Steel Grey, Reflex Silver and Curcuma Yellow, the all-new Virtus has got one of the most colour options in this particular segment. Volkswagen has got one more thing to boast this time and that is the numbers. The brand claims that the sedan has got the largest boot carrying capacity that stands at 521-litres. Similarly, it is even the longest one putting other well-known sedans to shame.

Powering the new sedan from VW are potent 1.0 and 1.5-litre TSI engines that we have already witnessed on the Taigun. Starting with the smaller displacement motor, it is capable of churning out a decent 115PS and 178Nm of peak torque. Thankfully, the other one is more powerful with overall output rated at 150PS and 250Nm. Wondering what the gearbox options are? There are three of them and to get more into the details, a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DSG depending upon the trim levels are on sale.

Coming to the safety front, Virtus has been loaded with 6 airbags, hill assist, multi-collision assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS and electronic stability control to name a few.
