Unlike the older Volkswagen cars, the design language of Taigun assures you that is modern enough to compete against any new compact SUV. The front profile of it sports large LED headlamps, brand’s signature twin slat grille, sporty bumper and new VW logo at the centre. As expected, the all-new SUV sits on a large set of 17-inch alloy wheels and is available with five exclusive shades including:

Interior

Inside the cabin, the all-new Taigun feels plush in terms of fit and finish. At the centre, the dashboard features a large 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system below which are the controls for the air conditioner. There’s even a sportier multifunctional steering wheel which is available either with an analogue or a fully digital instrument cluster depending upon the variant. Other features including a cooled glovebox, type-C charging ports, wireless smartphone charger, ambient lighting and an electric sunroof are also a part of this list.
Engine
Power comes from a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that churns out a decent 115HP and 175Nm of peak torque. Talking about the transmission duties, it is managed either by a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic gearbox.
There’s even a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine for the Performance Line that comes paired to a 6-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The overall output from this setup is rated at 150HP and 250Nm.
