Just like the Q7 that acts as a flagship SUV for Audi, even Volkswagen is ready to enter the same segment with the all-new Talagon. The German carmaker in collaboration with FAW in China has developed a full-size SUV for the Chinese market. Well, that is one of the reasons they have revealed it at the Shanghai Auto Show 2021. The upcoming Volkswagen Talagon will be available with a 6 as well as a 7-seater layout. But, interestingly, Volkswagen is using the MQB Evo platform which they have earlier used on several other offerings as well.

Want to learn more about the Talagon? We have covered even the smallest detail down below.

Coming to the dashboard that now houses a floating infotainment display next to which sits the fully digital instrument cluster. Further, Volkswagen has introduced a flat bottom multifunctional steering wheel on the Talagon that is expected to come on other upcoming SUVs as well.

Also, it will also feature Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel drive powertrain as standard. According to the sources, Talagon will also get a 2.0-litre four cylinder turbocharged engine.
