2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace
To begin with, the 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace will get similar updates that we have already witnessed on its younger sibling. Just to be precise, the front end of the updated SUV is expected to get a new pair of Matrix LED headlamps, a revised grille and a reworked bumper. Also, the side profile will now be featuring a new set of alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the dashboard of Tiguan Allspace is expected to remain as it is. However, this time, there will be touch controls for climate control instead of the conventional physical buttons. According to the sources, the German brand is also expected to introduce a new instrument cluster. Other features such as ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system will remain exactly the same.
Volkswagen always emphasises safety for the occupants. As always, the updated SUV will feature a bunch of them including multiple airbags, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring system and ABS with EBD to name a few.
Globally, Volkswagen offers Tiguan Allspace a diesel powertrain as well. However, in India, it will be available with a sole 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Talking in numbers, this motor is truly capable of producing 190PS of power and 320Nm of peak torque while being mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission as standard. Interestingly, there is only a fully loaded variant that gets Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive powertrain.
