Volkswagen has launched the limited edition variant of its popular car, Polo GT in Indian market. The Polo GT Sport will be available in both Petrol and Diesel variant and is expected to cost upto ₹9.21 lakh. The patrol variant will come with a 1.2 litre engine with a cost price of ₹9.11 lakh and the diesel variant with 1.5 litre engine will cost ₹9.21 lakh. The mentioned price is ex-showroom price in New Delhi.
Talking of the new changes in the sports variant of Polo GT, it has an improved interior and exterior design. The seat covers have a leather finish and along with that, the car has 16 inch alloy wheels. It also sports a glossy black spoiler to give a more classy and sporty look.
Talking at the launch, Volkswagen Groups Sales India Managing Director Thierry Lespiaucq said that with this launch, the company is giving. choice to users to choose a sports variant of the car which has been widely popular in Indian market. He also added that there will be a very limited supply of this and it is targeted specially to people who want a more sporty look with the already popular model.
