Audi does not want to compromise its current position in the Indian market and that is one of the major reasons why the German brand has decided to come up with a limited-run product. This time, Audi Q7 has been selected as an exclusive SUV and to maintain its exclusivity, the carmaker has introduced several cosmetic enhancements to it with a price tag starting at Rs.88.08 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Audi Q7 Limited Edition

For beginners, only 50 units of the same are going to be assembled in India. Based on the Technology variant, it is going to get a Barrique Brown paint scheme with a slightly revised front grille. The sills have also been revised to give the SUV a slightly aggressive front face. For a fresh look on either side, Audi has also introduced massive 19-inch alloy wheels as a standard feature.

Inside the cabin, the Limited Edition Q7 comes with a virtual cockpit that can be adjusted as per the user’s need. Then there is ambient lighting available with around 30 shades. Other features that are available on it are: a premium B&O surround sound system, massive touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, four-zone climate control and electric tailgate to name a few. For occupant’s safety, Audi Q7 has been loaded with 8 airbags, a 360-degree parking camera and a lane departure warning.

Under the hood, this seven-seater SUV comes with a 48V mild-hybrid powertrain. A 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine is powering the limited-run Q7 with overall output rated at 340 horsepower and 500Nm. Just like the regular model, even this one is available with the brand’s Quattro All-Wheel Drive System as standard.

Talking about some more numbers, Audi Q7 can clock a triple-digit speed in just 5.9 seconds with that kind of weight. The top speed is also said to be electronically limited at 250kmph. Well, this is what makes it a perfect luxury SUV.

In India, Audi Q7 compares with BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Volvo XC90 to name a few.
