Yamaha Launches FZ-S Vintage Edition At INR 1.11 Lakh Onwards

Yamaha has recently launched the top-spec special edition variant of the Yamaha FZ-S in India with a price tag of Rs. 1.11 Lakh onwards (ex-showroom, Delhi). The all-new special edition according to the company is known as Yamaha FZ-S Vintage Edition.

Coming to the cosmetic updates, Yamaha FZ-S Vintage Edition now gets a new British Racing Green color scheme. Meanwhile, this color scheme on the special edition bike twins with the racing flag graphics. Apart from this, the seat is now comes covered with a tan-brown upholstery.

The hardware of the special edition Yamaha FZ-S remains almost the same with a telescopic fork at the front. Meanwhile, at the rear end, the bike comes equipped with an adjustable monoshock suspension unit. Further, the braking duties on the special edition bike work under disc brakes on both ends.

Recently, Yamaha has introduced a connectivity feature on the FZ-S Dark Knight Edition called the Yamaha Motorcycle ConnectX. However, this feature allows the rider to access remote locking, riding history, parking and hazard record, etc.

At the heart, the Vintage Edition FZ-S gets the same BS6 compliant 149cc single-cylinder engine that produces 12.4BHP of power @ 7250RPM with a peak torque of 13.6Nm @ 5500RPM on the regular Yamaha FZ-S.

In India, the BS6 Yamaha FZ-S Vintage Edition will rival the Hero Xtreme 160R, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
