YZF-R1 is powered by 998cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC forward-inclined parallel 4-cylinder 4-valve engine. It produces 200 ps power @ 13,500 rpm and 112.4 Nm torque @11,500rpm. It is coupled with Constant Mesh 6-speed transmission and Multiple Dics clutch kit.

It has 17-liter fuel tank. Also, electric starter kit, 130 mm minimum ground clearance and 1,405 mm wheelbase. Being designed to meet performance and tackle shocks, ZRF-R1 infused with aluminum saltbox has long upward truss type of swingarm and rear magnesium frame comprises exhaust system.

To guarantee more power it is fitted with lightweight titanium 4-2-1 exhaust system. Also, Yamaha chip control air intake funnel adjust diameter match engine rpm to optimize power. Yamaha provided Compact LED headlights on either side of the air intake emphasize the race-ready look while twin LED running lights to give this superbike a truly unique face. Also, 4-piston radial mounted front calipers ride on big 320mm rotors for excellent stopping power.

ZRF is equipped with array of technical support like ABS, Unified Braking System provides maximum braking performance, traction control system, slide control system, power mode, launch control system, a quick control system with rev-matching, etc.
