State Bank of India (SBI) on Friday announced it is organising a ‘mammoth’ national meet on May 28 in order to understand the customer grievances and enhance services.

Under its initiative, the country’s largest lender will engage with over one lakh customers at more than 500 locations through 17 of its local head offices.

“The purpose is to nurture customers’ trust in the bank by engaging with them at the ground level. We look forward to our customer participating in this mega customer meet and help us in meeting their expectations through an enhanced experience at our branches,” said PK Gupta, managing director (retail and digital) of SBI, in a statement.

Subsequently, the customers will be guided about the use of alternative banking channels and Yono SBI which is an omni-channel, digital and lifestyle platform, added Gupta.

During the meeting, the customers can interact with the SBI senior-most officials in order to discuss the issues pertaining to bank’s services and various procedures, said one of the staff members of the SBI.
