Amit Sinha is now Paytm’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Paytm Mall. He was previously the senior vice president at parent company One 97 communications. Now he will be appointed as the COO of Paytm Malls. Amit has to now report to the Paytm’s founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma. He is a multi-tasker and can manage finance and human capital of the company easily. Due to his countable amount of experience in the field, he is now the COO.
Amit is an MBA from Indian Institute of Management- Calcutta with an engineering degree from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He was there at One 97 communications since a long time managing business process, human resources, and finance.
To add to his resume Sharma of One 97 Communications said:”Amit’s experience in building businesses since their inception makes him our best choice to lead our commerce business”.
Sinha will now be the head of category leaders, logistics, and operations functions at Paytm Mall.
