The Automaker major Nissan Motor India on Wednesday announced to increase prices of its entire model range by up to 5 per cent from January next year. The decision has been taken to balance out the high input costs on the models.

The revised increased price will impact all available models for Nissan and Datsun, effective January 2020, said Nissan Motor India in a statement. “In the current challenging market conditions, we are constrained to increase the price of all Nissan and Datsun models due to increased costs,” said Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India.

However, other major companies of India like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, Tata Motors have already announced the price hike from January.
