Insecurities which feared the market on Tuesday seemed to ease out today and the market traded in green to gain 258 points by the end of today’s trade. The international problem arising between the US and North Korea seemed to be easing out today and a majority of the markets across the world saw positive trends in the trade. At the end of market hours, BSE Sensex closed 258 points higher at 31,646 points.
Top gainers in today’s trade included Reliance, Adani Ports and HDFC. Reliance gained over 2% to end at ₹1564.15, Adani ports gained 1.94% to close at ₹389.65. HDFC too gained 1.83% and ended the trade today at ₹1759.50. The list was followed by Coal India and Tata Steel, which were up by 1.39% and 1.35% respectively.
