As a part of its sustainable environment campaign, Cognizant will deploy Electric Vehicles (EVs) in its Hyderabad campus. Tata Motors, a leading global automobile manufacturer, will partner with Volercars, a leading mobility solutions company, to supply Tigor EVs. Volercars will be delivering this integrated solution with value-added services to Cognizant including on ground operation and fleet management.
Reducing carbon footprint

At an event held in the Hyderabad campus, a batch of 10 vehicles was handed over to Cognizant officials
This deal has been a win-win situation for Tata Motors and Cognizant. While Cognizant believes in best environmental practises, Tata Motors envision green mobility solutions for the future.

Charging stations
Unlike other vehicles that run on fossil fuel, EVs operate when charged at EV charging stations and the first charging station was installed in Mumbai. As part of the EV orders, two fast charging stations at Hyderabad will be installed. It is the first time that Tata Motors would be setting up charging stations outside Mumbai.
Tata Motors, that promote a pollution free environment, are yet to release the due date for delivering these EVs.
