Goods and Services Tax(GST) is going to roll out on July,1. Ahead of the launch industrialist Anil Ambani has said that GST will provide ‘economic freedom’ and it would make the country the biggest free and democratic market in the history of humankind. He also added that there are many ways of counting the benefits of GST and as many of counting its costs.
Anil Ambani believes that GST is not just another piece of reform and transform however he finds GST as the liberation of our economic imagination. He founds the people of India to be privileged to bear the witness to one such moment in time.
The business tycoon said that the free market is perhaps the greatest force for economic good in human history of all earthly inventions. He added that the free market is a force for generating wealth and transforming lives and the real promise of GST is promise of economic liberation.
GST promise of ‘One Nation, One Tax, One Market’, which would create a borderless world of 1.3 billion people, producers and consumers engaged in a seamless exchange of goods and services, skill sets and capital, labor and ideas.
After demonetization, GST will forever change the ground rules of doing any kind of trade, commerce or business in India. The present government has undertaken a fundamental overhaul of India’s financial infrastructure while consolidating and strengthening the banking sector.
GST will release at the mid-night hour tomorrow by our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the August Central Hall, India.
