Amid the ongoing spat between founders and the CEO of Infosys, the company has roped in Inderpreet Sawhney as the Group General Counsel. She will tae charge from 3rd July, 2017.

Prior to joining Infosys, Inderpreet was the general counsel for Wipro. She has also worked with ITC-Limited as an in-house council. With this, Gopi Krishnan Radhakrishnan, who was acting general counsel for Infosys till now, will leave the company later this month to pursue other available opportunities.

Another key executive from Infosys, Sandeep Dadlani, who was heading manufacturing, logistics and retail at Infosys, has also resigned from his post and will be leaving the company shortly. Sandeep’s work will now be split between 2 executives, with Karmesh Vaswani heading retail and logistics, whereas, manufacturing will be headed by Nitesh Banga. Both these executive have been with Infosys for over a decade.

Commenting on the development, Vishal Sikka, CEO – Infosys said that Inderpreet has an experience of over 24 years working with some big names. She will surely add value to the company with her contributions. He also wished luck to Gopi Krishnan for his future endeavours.
