India’s IT giant company, Infosys notified that it had agreed to buy Nordic-based salesforce consulting partner, Fluido for ₹7.6 crore in Europe. This will be second acquisition by Infosys this year under Salil Parekh’s leadership.

The company’s acquisition is likely to boost its ability to provide cloud transformation. Along with it, Infosys will also strengthen its presence in Nordic regions like Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Slovakia.

As quoted by the live mint, “Fluido will be an important addition to the Infosys family, bringing a unique combination of market presence, deep salesforce expertise, agile delivery and training, that combined with our existing capabilities will help companies reimagine and transform their businesses. This acquisition also aligns to our efforts to invest in local capabilities in the regions in which we operate,” said Ravi Kumar S, president and deputy chief operating officer of Infosys.

Key factors behind the acquisition: Analyst

A Mumbai based analyst said, “WongDoody and now Fluido’s acquisitions show that Salil is going to acquire consulting and design firms, one of which also helps the company to scale up its presence in a geographic region that is seeing a lot more companies increase their spend on outsourcing.”

Bengaluru-based Infosys did not reveal the revenue of Fluido but it is hoping to close acquisition before December.
