Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has opened subscriptions for its Rs 53,125 crore of Rights Issue on May 20 which would end on June 3.  RIL Subsidiary Company – Jio Haptik Technologies has recently developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chatbot to assist company’s existing Shareholders and answer their queries on the sale of these Rights Issue. For this RIL has partnered with Whatsapp. 

To avail answers from chatbot on an intuitive query, Shareholders need to send a ‘Hi’ on +91-7977111111 Whatsapp number. The chatbot assists Shareholders by providing services of brokers, sub-brokers and call centres on general queries related to Rights Issue. It not only provides the answers for queries but also offers links to FAQ Videos available in many languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, etc.

The replies on Chatbot are a replica of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) from Shareholders. According to ‘YOURSTORY’, Chatbot has been extensively trained to refine its response and has 75+ replies which include important dates, a calculator on Rights Entitlement and monies, therefore, to be paid in the initial instalment, the fractional instalment if any, how to trade the rights entitlement, how to apply, payment methodologies, how to access forms or access the lead managers and the helplines.
