Like Amazon Gold and Flipkart Plus now Paytm also launched its subscription based loyalty programme christened as Paytm First. The new service is aimed at increasing the customer retention and compete with Amazon Gold and Flipkart Plus.

Paytm under the new plan, offers a subscription to services such as Zomato Gold, Gaana, Sony Liv, ViU Premium, and Eros Now at an annual charge of 750. Along with this the subscribers will also get other benefits on apps like Uber and Ubereats.

Paytm will also be providing 1,500 cashback to subscribers who opt for the Paytm First membership. Along with this they will also get the benefit of unlimited and free 24*7 priority shipping with 24*7 customer care service to help the users.

Paytm First loyalty programme will be available for android and iOS system and is expected to be available from 6th march.

Customers can subscribe to the Paytm First programme by paying 750 annually. However, as an introductory offer, Paytm is giving cashback worth 100 for a limited time period in order to woo customers.

“We are happy to have partnered with leading players from their respective verticals during the initial launch phase itself, and we will continue to expand the Paytm First programme with more benefits and value to our customers,” Deepak Abbot, Senior Vice President, said in a press statement.

Paytm has a deep penetration in the Indian market and with this new app Paytm is aiming at retention of its consumer base. Paytm First is expected to touch 3 million subscribers within the one year of its launch.
