Much awaited sale by Amazon, Amazon Prime day is scheduled to start at 6 PM on July 10. Prime day sale is a mammoth 30 hours of exclusive deals, launches, and premieres. The company will offer more than 1,00,000 deals, that will be posted in every five minutes throughout the sale period. Thousands of small businesses and entrepreneurs will be participating in Prime Day.
Prime day is a global event organized by the e-commerce major, Amazon. It will be a 30 hours event in which customers who are ready to buy can track the deals ahead of the time. The sale will encompass a wide variety of items along with some exclusive deals.
Though Amazon Prime is available in 13 countries, but this is the first time when India is enlisted in the Amazon’s Prime day sale. Those who are Amazon’s Prime member in India will be the first in the country to witness the exclusive launch to over 30 new brand products by LG, GAP, Lavie, Louis Philippe, Lego, and Puma, among others.
Amazon Prime was launched in India a year ago. Prime members are provided with unlimited free one-day and two-day delivery on over two million online products, free standard delivery without the minimum purchase, exclusive deals on bestselling products, and instant access to the latest movies and TV shows. It is available at a special introductory price of ₹499 a year.
Amazon Prime day is celebrated as ‘Christmas in July’ in the US. In fact, the hype is so huge that Amazon’s share prices also go up during the time.
