Shital Mehta, Chief Executive Officer at Pantaloons, has resigned from his position with immediate effect. The news was announced through a regulatory filing made to stock exchanges by the parent company, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited.
“Shital Mehta has resigned from the post of Chief Executive Officer, Pantaloons division of the company. Consequently, he will also cease to be one of the key managerial personnel of the company,” Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) said in a regulatory filing.
Shital Mehta was one of the key executives of the company and headed the retail chain under its fashion vertical. He was instrumental in expanding the base of Pantaloons and played a key role in other verticals under the parent organisation.
