Closing Hours: 

The Indian on Tuesday again breached it’s the lowest point by hitting a record low of 74.27 per dollar. As per analysts, all the gains earned by the rupee in the morning trade today went in vain as crude oil crossed $84 per barrel.

After posting a positive trend in the beginning of the market, BSE Sensex settled 0.51% or 174.91 points lower to close at 34,299.47. The NSE benchmark Nifty 50 went 0.45% down at 10,301.05.

Following Sensex, BSE Midcap and SmallCap also went 0.16% and 0.45% down respectively. Majority of sectors were trading lower than their previous closing headed by Auto which lost 3.91%.  Despite negative market trends, automobiles, energy, FMCG traded higher.

Who gained? Who did not?

On NSE, Goenka Diamond (+20.07%) , Goa Carbons (+19.07%), AMJ Land Holding (+18.73%), McDowell Hold (+17.77%), Uttam Sugar Mills (+14.47%) were the achievers.

Whereas, Blue Chip (-33.33%), MVL Ltd (-20.00%), Ajooni Biotech Ltd. (-19.03%),Ace Integrated Solutions Ltd. (-18.97%), Morarjee Text (-13.97%) lost the most.

Sungold Media and Entertainment Ltd. (-20.00), Jash Dealmark Ltd (-20.00)., Rathi Graphic (19.85), India Cements (16.86%), Saptak Chem And Bus (16.36) were the top losers on BSE.

GSM Capital Adv (+20.00), SVP Housing Ltd. (+19.71%), Goa Carbons (19.08%), AMJ Land Holdings(+18.95%), McDowell Hold (+18.42%) gained the most

In the end hours of market Sensex trades flat at 34,469

In the late afternoon today, Sensex declined 5.35 points to trade at 34,469.03. NSE’s Nifty was 6.70 points higher at 10354.70. Around 973 shares were trading in the green zone, on the flip 1483 shares were in red and 889 remained the same.

Metal was the best performer in sectors with gains over 2%. In contrast, Auto fell by more than 2% with FMCG and PSU bank index. While on the other hand auto index fell more than 2 per cent, followed by FMCG and PSU bank index.

Amid market tension, Yes Bank emerges as the top gainer

Yes Bank has been constantly trading in green since the news of the out-of-court settlement between Rana Kapoor and Madhu Kapur has been announced in the market. In the Tuesday session, Yes Bank achieved an intra-day high of ₹233.55.

It is now trading at ₹229.00 or 3.71% higher from its previous price. The Bank is the top player in the market today owing to 13% gains in past 7 days.

Other shares which are in green zone include HDFC (+3.40%), Vedanta (+2.47%), Adani ports (+2.42%) and Coal India (+1.81%).

Bearish Market trends in late-morning trade, Sensex lost 100 points

With BSE Sensex losing 100 points and Nifty trading at 10311.90, dynamic Indian stock market is back on its negative trend.

On BSE at 10.45 am, The BSE benchmark index continued to lose 106.071 points or 0.31%. Whereas, Nifty was at 10311.90, down 0.35% or 36.10 points. Further, Sugar stock is in buzz as it posted a hike of 14% in its equity at 10.51am

Yes Bank, Adani Ports were among the stocks trading in green. Whereas, shares of Tata Motors, Eicher Motors and Asian Paints declined the most.

Sensex trades flat at 34495.60, Tata Motors reports a 7-year low

Despite a good market start, The benchmark indices show a flat trend. The Sensex is higher by 21.22 points. Nifty 50 is trading 3 points higher at 10,351.00.

Among the top players are Yes Bank and HDFC. While, Tata Motors, Asian Paints and BPCL are trading in the red.

Tata motor breached its  7-year-historical low of ₹200.80 to trade at ₹204.10. The share price posted 4.09% fall on BSE at 9.34hours. Reportedly, Its share price were trading low due to sluggish demand of Jaguar Land Rover.

Sensex up by 89 points, Pharma stocks among top players

The Benchmark indices opened on a positive note today. BSE Sensex was 89.48 points or 0.26% higher at 34563.86. The NSE Nifty was trading at 10381.10, up 0.32% or 33.10 points.

Pharma was among the sectors which are gaining the most followed by financials and energy. In contrast, Nifty Auto dreaded by 0.5%. Indicating towards a good market trend ahead, 328 shares went higher. Whereas, 129 are trading in the red.

Nifty likely to trend flat in today’s trade

In the Pre-opening trade today BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty suggest that Benchmark indices are likely to begin on a positive note. Although, Nifty is anticipated to trade flat.

The BSE Sensex posted a hike of 252.64 points at 34727.02 at 9.02 Am today. Whereas, Nifty touched 10,385.30 which is 37.30 points higher.
