Tata Consultancy Services(TCS)  has successfully surpassed Reliance Industries Limited(RIL) to reclaim the status of the country’s most valued firm by market valuation. While on Friday, RIL was on the top, surpassing TCS in the list  in terms of market capital.

At the close of trade yesterday, the market capitalization of TCS was ₹4,63,287.02 crores while that of RIL was ₹8,555.55 crores. TCS leads the RIl by the margin of  ₹8,555.55 crores.

In the stock trading market, shares of RIL drop down by 2.60 percent to end at ₹1,398.50. While TCS shares went up by 0.23 percent to close at ₹2,351.20.

Tata Group’s, TCS in terms of market capital has become the country’s most valued company. But, its position at the top spot was short-lived as it slipped to the second spot in today’s trading session. These temporary ups and down in the valuation chart were also observed in the April as well. On April 24, RIL was in the lead in terms of the most valued firm during the trading session.
