Under the joint initiative of GloabalLinker and state government, a digital networking platform-Telangana State Globallinker was also launched.

The newly launched platform will enable MSME business to go digital and will also provide an e-commerce platform to them, through which they can connect globally with small and large businesses.

“Digitisation is going to be one of the game changers for MSME businesses as it helps them cater to customers beyond local boundaries, allows their profit to grow twice as fast and substantially increases their contribution to GDP. Industries Department of Telangana has collaborated with GlobalLinker to create Telangana State GlobalLinker, a digital SME Networking solution to address key challenges faced by MSMEs with the core objective of making the business growth of MSMEs – simpler, more profitable and enjoyable,” Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, Government of Telangana said, in a statement.

The newly launched IT platform will enable the micro and small businesses to flourish online and will connect them digitally with the outside world. The move is expected to help the small offline retail businesses which are trailing behind the e-commerce giants like Amazon and Flipkart.
