The China-based Zopo Mobile is also known as Shenzhen ZOPO Communication Equipment Co., which is situated in Shenzhen, China and founded by Kevin Xu in 2008. The company is a hi-tech enterprise engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of mobile intelligent terminal products for its customers at affordable price. The Chinese company renders their services to over 135 countries, ZOPO Operation Center in Europe has been established in 2015 with the purpose to support the marketing and after-sales service in the European market for better reach to the customers and can interact with European retailer and solve their problems. Currently, ZOPO is focusing on three main product lines: Speed, Flash and Color series. , it is the first brand to provide a 365 days replacement warranty.

In an interaction of BW Businessworld with Sanjeev Bhatia, CEO of ZOPO Mobile, India and M.D. of Adcom Pvt. Ltd., he discussed their expansion plans and to render better services.

Zopo’s entry in the Indian market has been a memorable one and long lasting. About two years ago in a press conference in New Delhi, we launched ZOPO in August 2015. The company marked ZOPO’s entry in India by launching 2 of its flagship models then, the speed 7 and speed 7 plus. These models have received a positive response from the users and have been very successful so far. As far as growth and expansion are concerned, the company believe in the provision of innovation by the means of our products to our Indian Smartphone users and keep developing innovative products to satisfy their users. Previously in July 2016, they launched their flagship smartphone, the Speed 8, the first one in the world to have a deca-core processor, which made it different from all the other phone of that range. Moreover, the Color series’ models, F2 & F5 were the first products to feature a multi-function fingerprint scanner. Recently, the company has launched its Flash series in India, with the world’s fastest fingerprint scanner with a response time of 1.6s. It was the first to achieve a 90-degree wide angle effect in a single front camera, clicking wide angle or group selfies.The company is the fastest brand to reach 200+ distributors in a short span of around 3 months. The company recently touched a milestone of 250 Zopo Care Partners across India. Apart from this, Zopo also has a partnership deal with the e-commerce giant, Alibaba.Currently, the company is now looking forward to connect with more retailers and to target local market and to get more distributors on board to increase the reach of the company. They have about 300 distributors in India, till date. But their focus is not just on increasing the horizontal growth and reach of our distribution but also the vertical growth and reach of our distribution so that customers don’t have to wait for days and can avail the product instantly.
