For all exam centers of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, CSIR UGC NET 2020 Examination scheduled for November 26, 2020 – tomorrow has been postponed . A notice for the same has been released by National Testing Agency, NTA, confirming that due to Cyclone Nivar the examination for Mathematical Sciences & Chemical Sciences would be postponed . New dates for the postponed exams would be released in due course of time on the official website nta.ac.in and csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Candidates may please note that exam is postponed only for the centres located in Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry. For all other exam centres there is no change in the schedule. Also, there is no notification for change in any other centers or schedule due to the Bharat Bandh called for November 26.

All who have registered and are appearing the for the examination are advised to keep a check on the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in for latest news and updates. Also, it is again reiterated that the examination scheduled for November 26 would be conducted as scheduled at all the examination centres across the country – barring the ones mentioned in the notice.

About CSIR UGC NET 2020 Exam

CSIR UGC NET examination is conducted by NTA in computer based test mode to determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and for Assistant Professorship in Indian Universities and colleges. The exam, as opposed to UGC NET 2020 exam is for training methods of research in various fields of Science.
